I think about food… a lot; probably too much. For years I have tried to explore what good food and good eating means to me. I wanted a way of getting some of these thoughts out of my head and this seems like a pretty good way of doing that.
I don’t care if food is simple to make or incredibly long winded and complex; represents fine dining or rustic tradition, is a well worked classic or experimental gastronomy; just as long as it brings a little gem of foodie goodness and worth sharing.
I am also fascinated with how food is eaten, the way people come together to eat and what that brings.
I have taken on the nom de plume of ‘the Rumbler’ as I share a name with a famous TV chef which kind of makes things a little bit awkward when putting things online and I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone.
